1/4/2015 · You can only buy e-Series through TD itself (i.e. cannot buy through BMO, RBC, etc.), can only buy online and receive electronic statements only. It's worth the lower cost. I could go with and extremely-low-fee Vanguard (or similar) ETF, but the TD E-Series funds are slightly more convenient and only slightly higher fees (the difference in fees on $5000 between a Vanguard ETF and a TD E-Series has got to be no more than 0.2%, which is only $10/year on $5000).
